I thought I purchased Pure Kawakawa and sadly got something else which only has a,tiny amount of Kawakawa

The new formula with yerba mate is a brilliant addition! This is now my favourite morning brew. I also drink the Relax and Restore teas and they're all excellent as well. My only suggestion is to have a 100% plastic-free option (including shipping packaging). Yes I know that the inside pouch is compostable, but it's not necessarily eco-friendly, as these plastic bags may leach chemicals into soil and may also contiminate the tea leaves with PFAS (if the bag contains it). Finally, even bioplastics contribute to the growing microplastic problem - and there's increasing amount of evidence showing how harmful microplastics can be to our body. A alternative to the plastic could be a sealed paper bag, placed inside the tube, which should be sufficient to preserve the freshness of the leaves. The tube itself could be further sealed with paper tape or light glue. I sincerely hope Oku reads this and moves towards a completely plastic-free packaging and shipping model.
I’m really glad to have come across Oku. I am currently enjoying the Relax/Whakatã tea which I drink and enjoy most nights. Apart from a great nights sleep, I also enjoy the origin of the tea and Oku’s story.
I love tea and I really like this new tea !
